On Friday 24th November, the Christmas lights will be turned on. From this day until Sunday 7th January, O Barco do Nadal will cross the waters of the estuary, leaving a trail of lights that will be part of the city’s Christmas lighting. The iconic Christmas characters of Santa Claus, the royal page, the Three Wise Men and the Grinch will welcome travellers who embark on this journey that lasts between 1h30 and 2h. How could you miss it?

This year, ‘O Barco do Nadal de Vigo’ arrives full of lights, music and surprises that will envelope you in Vigo’s Christmas spirit. During the journey of approximately one and a half hours, you will travel through our beautiful ría de Vigo estuary aboard our ship ‘Mar Vigo’, transformed for the occasion with dazzling decorations. Lights, garlands, trees and music will accompany you on this magical journey!

Santa Claus, the page of the Three Kings and even the Grinch himself will join us, livening up the trips every Sunday in December and the last few days of Christmas. What’s more, we have prepared special letters for the little ones, so they can write their wishes and place them in the Royal Mailbox installed on board.

If you want to be part of this unforgettable experience, you can buy your tickets at our Christmas stand at the Cíes Market, at our ticket office in Rúa Cánovas del Castillo 26 (from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00, and from Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00), or at our ticket office at the Ría de Vigo Maritime Station in Rúa Cánovas del Castillo 3 (open from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 22:30).
